About

Gas-exchange testing, out of the lab.

VenTracer is a breath analyzer being designed and engineered by Rapid Circuitry in Hyderabad, India. We are building it because the best fitness measurement there is still lives in a handful of labs.

Why we're building it

Measured beats estimated.

Millions of people see a VO2max number on their watch every day. Almost none of them have ever had it measured. The equipment that can measure it is mostly large, expensive and tied to the lab.

We think gas-exchange testing can be small enough to wear, simple enough to run anywhere, and honest about what it does and doesn't know.

  1. Prove it before we claim it.

No accuracy figures until validation against laboratory reference systems is published.

  2. Measure, don't model.

Every headline number starts from the oxygen and carbon dioxide in your breath.

  3. Your breath, your data.

Raw breath-by-breath data exportable to you, your coach or your lab.

VenTracer

The mark

One line through a solid block.

The VenTracer symbol is a solid tile with a single line running through it: one breath, traced from start to finish. The line dips and rises the way a breath trace does, and it splits the block cleanly, with nothing added.

The name joins ventilation and tracer: something that follows every breath.

VenTracer is led by Aditya Chilka, founder and CEO of Rapid Circuitry, an electronics design and engineering firm in Hyderabad working across embedded systems, PCB design, IoT and firmware. The team is building VenTracer around one principle: measure, don't estimate. See the science, or how we plan to work with labs and clinics.

Test it with us.

The fastest way to get VenTracer right is to put it on real athletes in real labs.
